2020 race entry details and costings
Entries open 1st April 2019
There will be 135 places - 15 of which will be reserved for repeat offenders
Acceptance of Entry requires the entry form submission via this website, and payment of the 1st installment deposit (50% of entry price) with in 7 days after receiving your conformation email.. At this point you are entered in the 2020 Anchor Milk Otago Alps2Ocean Ultra.
The 2nd installment deposit (final 50%) is due before 1st September 2019
Payment details will be submitted via email after your entry form submission
“Early Bird” Entry NZD $2,499.00 – Once your Entry Form has been submitted you will receive a conformation email. Your 1st installment deposit needs to paid within 7 days after receiving confirmation
* Failure to pay the “Early Bird” deposits by the due dates will revert your entry to the full priced entry of NZD $2,999.00.
Early Bird entries will finish on October the 1st 2019
After the 1st of October, Entries will be the full price of NZD $2,999.00 - as above, once you receive a confirmation email you have within 7 days to pay your 1st installment deposit, your 2nd installment is due by the 1st September 2019

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
All runner /walkers that take part in this event are to understand that this event is an outdoor event in sometimes very remote parts of New Zealand. Runners are expected to have a good understanding of outdoor survival skills and have a good knowledge of their gear and how to use it. The trail will be very well marked and there is no need to know how to use a compass. There will be limited facilities available.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older at the start date of the race. Special permission may be requested if you are under 21 and is at the race organizers permission.
WITHDRAWALS AND CANCELLATIONS:
Participants wishing to withdraw and cancel their application will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation. All participants will receive a refund of the total fees paid to date, less NZ$500 if a cancellation notice has been received by Alps2Ocean Ultra before the 1st of August. No fees will be refunded if any cancellation notice is received after the 1st of August. All entry fees are non-transferrable and may not be deferred to any other runner of the Alps2Ocean Ultra. If the Alps2Ocean Ultra Promotors have a need to cancel the event 90days before the race starts then they will refund the runners entire entry fee Less the $500 administration fee
Alps2Ocean promoters have the right to change or even cancel the run due to circumstances beyond their control. (this could include a host of reason, weather, natural disasters, flooding, wars or even an act of God, land access etc)
In such an event, the Organizers will not be liable to refund the entry fee. The Organizers further represent that in such extenuating circumstances, they will use their best endeavours to Continue to hold the Event but in a modified form.
